This product, on reading about it on the Amazing Cosmetics website, sounds fantastic and it is... to a degree. The website claims that it can hide all flaws, is waterproof and requires only a pin dot amount. It claims to cover dark circles, blemishes, redness, sun damage, etc etc.

I completely agree with all of the above. This is definitely a pigmented, high coverage concealer that only requires using the tiniest amount of product and it did not budge from where i placed it. Even the 0.2oz tube will last you quite awhile.

That being said, if you have oily acne prone skin - don't go there! It will, in my experience, make the entire situation far worse.

It was my experience that by using this product to cover acne scarring, i actually ended up with more acne and fast. By fast - i mean hours. When i first put this product on in the morning my skin looked fantastic! No blemishes to be seen. Unfortunately as the day wore on my scars did turn to white heads. Not really the desired result. I can't entirely blame the product for this, i should have read the ingredients and known this would happen. After all the product does contain mineral oil and lanolin oil.

If you don't have acne prone, oily skin or adverse reactions to lanolin oil than this product could possibly become your holy grail concealer. I would recommend that drier skin types give this concealer a go.

For those looking for a cheaper alternative or for those with acne prone, oily skin give the Physicians Formula Conceal RX a try. I will be reviewing it shortly.

Have you tried Amazing Concealer? Did you love it or continue your search for the perfect concealer?
