Those i've ordered from:
Beauty Bay
I love Beauty Bay. I'll just put it out there. It's where i usually buy any Mario Badescu products i can't get in store in Australia and i also check Beauty Bay prior to making purchases pretty much anywhere else because sometimes they are cheaper (E.g. YSL Touche Eclat $36.10 AUD at Beauty Bay and $55 AUD at Mecca Cosmetica).
Beauty Bay also has free shipping so if the products are a similar price and I'll go with Beauty Bay rather than paying for shipping. My orders have all arrived fairly quickly and I've never had any issues.
Brands Exclusive (Note this is a referral link.)
I adore Brands Exclusive and don't know what i did with out it! Granted it's a flash sale site so not only are there times where i don't get in quick enough and what i want is sold out but also occasionally (2/10 orders) you will order something and they can't fulfil the order (and you get a refund).
Brands like OPI, Revlon, Smashbox, etc are on there pretty regularly and they also often have preowned designer handbags as well as other high end fashion labels (Longchamp and Michael Kors were on there not long ago). They sell cosmetics, fragrances, homewares, fashion, shoes, kids...
Shipping is $10 AUD and while they have a spot to redeem codes I've never actually heard of a code. That said if I'm buying 4 OPI polishes for $11 each ($44) instead of $20 each ($80) having to pay $10 in shipping is worth it to save $26. Shipping can take a while because Brands Exclusive orders it from the supplier and then ships it on but the savings can be worth the wait.
Cherry Culture
This is my go to for brands like NYX, Milani, Jordana, Ardell Lashes, China Glaze and Sinful Colours. They are all fairly inexpensive and this online store is good for that. They are usually cheaper than any store I've come across (on the rare occasion i actually see these in a store).
Shipping was reasonable. Wasn't extraordinarily fast or particularly slow. Prices are okay and is based mostly on weight:
- USPS - $8.95+
- USPS 1st Class - $28.95+
- Fedex Economy - $18.95+
- Fedex Priority - $24.95+
A shipping example: 1 China Glaze polish, 1 set of Ardell lashes, 1 Jordana Blush, 1 Jordana Fabuliner, 1 Jordana Best Lash Extreme Mascara, 1 Milani Sunset blush, 1 NYX Slide On eye liner and 1 NYX 9 colour eye shadow palette - Total price $36.45 USD with USPS shipping for $15.62 or $18.99 for USPS 1st class. So all up this would be about $56.70 AUD with basic shipping.
Those i haven't ordered from:
If it's high end brands you are after and you don't really mind paying Australia's ridiculous prices or you just can't be bothered shopping around Mecca is generally the place to go. This is where i get my Mario Badescu Drying Cream most of the time (in store not online). It's Australia's version of Sephora - just over priced with a more limited brand selection.
Shipping is free for orders over $75 (which is not difficult to exceed) or:
- 1 - 2 products $10
- 3 - 5 products $15
- Over 6 products $20
StrawberryNet
StrawberryNet falls into the 'i haven't ordered here' category simply because i haven't found it that much cheaper for the things i would actually buy. Take the Clinique Liquid Facial Soap for example: $29 in Myer or David Jones and $32 on StrawberryNet. What?
So now you are thinking, why Jess, why are you recommending it then? Well because it's a good site to keep an eye on. Sometimes that do have a really good deal going and you can get a decent discount. I know that my favourite perfume, Hypnotic Poison by Christian Dior, can often be cheaper there.

Feel Unique
This website is similar to Beauty Bay but based in the UK. Unfortunately this does mean there are some shipping restrictions to Australia (perfume, nail polish etc) but there are still a fair few tempting things to buy that are shipped here.
This site won't be on the 'haven't purchased here' list long because it's where i plan on getting my Real Techniques brushes. The Core Face Kit for example is $45 at Priceline but is only $33.06 on Feel Unique. The Balm is another brand i will probably get at Feel Unique - it's not much cheaper but every dollar counts!

Crush Cosmetics
Crush Cosmetics is similar to Cherry Culture above only the shipping is less (it's Australia based i believe) but the prices are higher for the same things. It has a lot of the same brands as well.
The difference is that it also has some ELF, Hard Candy, Wet N Wild, Red Cherry and other popular brands that Cherry Culture lacks. The trick with these two is comparing them. Ardell lashes and China Glaze are far cheaper at Cherry Culture, for example, so even with shipping you might be better off going with Cherry Culture (as was the case when i ordered).

Tarazz
This is an online store i discovered recently and I'm itching to try when i have more disposable income. It basically enables you to shop at some US stores via their website. Now not everything from all stores is available and the store list is limited at the moment but for me the appeal is that i can buy Tarte blushes and the Lorac Pro Palette (you can also get the Urban Decay naked palettes for example). They appear to be reasonably priced (or at least a price i'd pay!).
Shipping does seem a little high though. That said... Tarte and Lorac!! You just can't get those here (or at least that I've found) and the shipping is cheaper than a holiday. It appears that if you are going to order it's better to buy big - in other words get your shippings worth. With one Tarte blush and the Lorac palette shipping was $18.60AUD. When i also added in a LaVanilla set (perfume and body lotion) and a Fresh sugar lip treatment postage went up to $24.50.
By the way, Tarazz also sells other products such as hand bags, etc.

What are some of your favourite beauty buy sites?
