Haul #1: Myer & Mecca Maxima - Lots of Clinique!

Today i felt the need to do a little shopping! I got a couple of emails this week that made it a really simple decision about whether to shop or not:

• Mecca Maxima members can get a free sample of the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion +
• Clinique has a gift with purchase if you spend more than $60 at Myer - Travel Essentials

Myer

At Myer i wanted the Clinique All About Eyes eye cream and i'd been holding off until the right gift with purchase came along. Unfortunately the 15ml eye cream is $58 and you had to spend $60. Thankfully they do a larger size so i purchased the 30ml for $92 instead.
The gift with purchase had a few interesting things i've been wanting to try as well. Bonus!

• Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief 15ml - I'm kind of sick of getting endless samples of this!
• Repairwear Laser Focus Wrinkle Correcting Eye Cream 5ml - Looking forward to trying this eye cream.
• Rinse-Off Foaming Cleanser 30ml - My housemate says she dislikes this, but i'm happy to give it a try.
• Even Better Dark Spot Correcting Hand Cream SPF15 30ml - Can't say my dark spot issues are with my hands, but hand cream is always good. Will be interesting to see if it's better than their other hand cream.
• Moisture Surge Face Spray Thirsty Skin Relief 30ml - I don't normally use sprays but this could be good after applying setting powder.
• Chubby Stick Intense Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm in Roomiest Rose 1.2g - Now this i'm looking forward too! Probably not the colour i would have gone with first, but looking forward to it.
• High Impact Waterproof Mascara in Black 3.9ml - I've tried the non-waterproof version of the High Impact and wasn't a fan. Will see how the waterproof differs.
• Clinique Cosmetic Bag - Which is kind of cute (not that i need anymore cosmetic bags!)

 Mecca Maxima

At Mecca i went in looking for Mario Badescu products. Specifically the Drying Cream and the Corrective Complex Emulsion.

The Drying Cream is a love of mine ever since i got it in December 2012. I will review this shortly! It's a god send in terms of helping control the oils on my face and the amount of acne i get.

The Corrective Complex Emulsion i've heard good things about but unfortunately neither Mecca or Myer sell this product. From what i can tell it hasn't been released here yet. Beauty Bay it is!

Bonus

Okay so i may have also made a book purchase today. Why am i so hesitant about saying that... well, i basically have my own library and a fair few books that i have still yet to read. Probably didn't need to buy this novel now, but Karin Slaughter is one of my favourite authors and this book is not the latest release... at least that's my justification!
